Fund raising

The cost of staging our larger performances is very high; the hire of premises and the payment to the professional players who make up our orchestra to name but two of the costs.

Therefore through the year we hold various fund raising events.

Supper Concerts

SUPPER CONCERTS @ THE OLD CHAPEL, HARTPURY

The dates for the 2011 season are:

April 9th, June 4th, September 24th and December 3rd

The supper concerts are a really great evening - both musically and socially - as well as

being a valuable source of funds for Philo. Why not treat some friends?

The Songbards

Kathryn Skipp, Linda Parsons, John Quinn, David Parsons and their accompanist, Mair Shankster make up the Songbards.  They provide entertainments of songs, duets, quartets, prose and poetry, serious and humorous and donate their fees to Philomusica.
